How is it true that Jesus teachings elevated the status of women...?

...considering they had formerly been men's property. Name what and how He changed things positively in context of scriptures. Women's lib often accuses religious women of not being liberated and are fighting to usurp authority over a man to get there. How can we show folks the liberty we have in Christ's teachings in the right way is truly fulfilling?How is it true that Jesus teachings elevated the status of women...?

I think ';Honor thy MOTHER and thy father...'; should have been enough to show that a woman should have respect as well as a man.
I believe that first, you should start with God The Father.


It is He whom choose Mary ';a woman'; as the human vessel for Jesus coming to the world.


As for Lord Jesus, look at his example; by His treatment of Mary Magdalene (his forgiveness to her), and the example of how he treated the Canaanite woman. Though the Canaanite was considered a ';dog'; yet her belief in Jesus, saved her.
