I see the most direct answer to how to worship Him in spirit and in truth is-
In spirit -the baptism of the Holy Ghost, this is the Spriit of Truth, Christ in us, hope of glory-Gods Spirit-the Holy Ghost!!!!
And in Truth - after we have received this spirit of Truth as on the day He poured Himself out----we are then able to follow His rightly divided word, 'thy word is Truth', and understand from the foundation of who He is, and the have the Spirit of discernnment-which is a must to be able to follow Him, and not 'denomination'.
I see a great gulf between those that have been born again-water baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sin and filled with His Spirit as on the day of pentecost.....and those who have not.
I pray ALL would worship Him in Spirit and in Truth so the would be no division between us....and let His full Word reign.....'precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little'. -IsaiahJesus said that the TRUE Worshipers of God Worship God in Spirit %26amp; in Truth. How is this done?
By being born again!
';Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call'; (Acts 2:38-39).
Then we have assurance of salvation as long as we continue to confess, love, believe, overcome sin and the world, and submit to God.
The same thing that blinded the Pharisees in the time of Jesus. Jesus told them that they were worshiping the letter of the law and not the ';spirit'; of the law; in other words, they misunderstood the purpose of the 10 commandments even as they argued about the meaning of the 10 commandments.
The same conditions exist today. If you are worshiping the doctrines and dogmas of Christian religions, you might in fact be missing the purpose or meaning of those teachings. All of this hatred and fear that I sense from so many people here who call themselves Christians leads me to believe that they are exactly like the Pharisees. Had they lived in those days, they would have crucified Jesus, as clearly they are crucifying His teachings of love and peace.
I take that to mean two things. To worship in spirit, I think, means to be wholehearted about it. You serve God before others and before yourself. In truth is that you do not attempt to make God into something you are more comfortable with. You accept the truth, even when you don't like it.
The opposite of this is seen today quite a bit. People say they worship God, but when no one is looking, they sin with no remorse. Others try to claim that Jesus is not the only way or that God wants everyone to be rich and happy. The first does not worship in spirit, the latter does not worship in truth.
The body which is flesh and means little, the spirit of the body, and the spirit that spirit represents, a group of people stand as many spirits of one, recognition of the spirits, reference in the old is: they all woke and rose as ';one man';, reference in the new, Jesus referring to creating, making, and made, ';a proselyte'; one subject of many parts.
By being redeemed by the Blood of Christ first!
After that, because the Holy Spirit will be inside you, He will teach you the proper way to worship God.

';Jesus said that the TRUE Worshipers of God Worship God in Spirit %26amp; in Truth';. Jesus said to worship GOD not worship me. ';Worship GOD'; ';Worship GOD';. O' people do not elevate people (regardless of their righteousness) to take GOD's place or make them partners in worship with GOD. Do not let God's creation be worshiped or partnered in worship with the one that is only worthy of worship. Do obey the messengers of God since Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed their message is ONE. Do worship God and ONLY GOD is the message. It has always been the same since Adam. GOD never changes nor his message.
Bible ( Mark 10:18; Matthew 26:39; John 14:28, 17:3, and 20:17) where Jesus teaches that the one he worshipped is the only true God. See also Matthew 12:18; Acts 3:13, and 4:27 where we find that his disciples knew him as Servant of God.
Say: 'O People of the Book(Jews and Christians)! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords other than GOD.' But if they turn away, say: 'Bear you witness that we have surrendered unto GOD (We are Muslims).''; Qur'an(3):6
';O People of the Book! Commit no excess in your religion: Nor say of God aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was a messenger of God, and his word, which he bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceddding from him: so believe in God and his messengers. Say not ';Trinity'; : desist: it will be better for you: for God is one God: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. ';And in their footsteps We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the law that had come before him: We sent him the Gospel: therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the law that had come before him: a guidance and an admonition to those who fear God.'; Qur'an 5:46
They do blaspheme who say: ';God is Christ the son of Mary.'; But said Christ: ';O Children of Israel! worship God, my Lord and your Lord.'; Whoever joins other gods with God,- God will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help.) Qur'an 5:72
';Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messanger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how God doth make his signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth.'; Qur'an 5:75
The poor old dumb shepherds came to see him when he was a baby and they probably couldn't read, or write, or speak well, and they just adored him.
Give me THAT old time religion.
