God does not punish us with calamities. How do ever we hope to encourage people to learn of and then know Jesus or God, when you fuel their apprehensions with nonsense.
If you blame God for all that man chooses to do, you do him an injustice, create inaccuracy, put off those that might be considering knowing him intimately.

If you stole some money and the owner shot you, would that be God punishing you or the owner of the money? We are still living under the Covenant of God's Grace and Mercy and yes, divine judgment is coming but as God will chasten His own, those who belong to Satan, gets the wrong they deserve from Him. During the Tribulation period, it is then the world will experience the Great Wrath and anger of God..I believe the world will experience this in this generation...

There are plenty of strong believers in Jesus who have calamities happen in their lives. That's a part of life. Nobody said it'd be either easy or fair.
