Is it true that the real Jesus was probably only around 5'2'; with very dark skin?

I heard this on a documentary and they reconstructed what a man would have looked like from that region and that time period. This is very contradictory to the image most Christians have of a tall, fair-skinned, blue-eyed Jesus. If this is true, no wonder he said turn the other cheek. He wouldn't have been big enough to fight anyone and win.Is it true that the real Jesus was probably only around 5'2'; with very dark skin?
Damn - a guy who lived with few nutrients nearly two thousand years ago in a hellish climate with a love of fasting and he still has me beat by over three inches. Grr....I hate genetics. Is it true that the real Jesus was probably only around 5'2'; with very dark skin?
Pretty much.. It is thought that he would look like a fairly short Orthodox Jew as far as his hair and beard are concerned. He would have worn quite good clothes for his time, as he was from a high-ranking family (he could read, for goodness' sake!) and his skin would be dark from exposure to middle-eastern climate.
Yeshuah ben Miriam (who 400 years later became Jesus Christ, but that's another story) was a Palestinian Jew. Meaning, TSA probably wouldn't let him on a commercial airliner. And yes, 5' 2'; is a reasonable guess, as the average height of an adult male in that area in that time.
No one knows for sure but there is a possibility that is correct.

The skin color is very likely and from what I have heard that is an average height for that time period.

You are wrong about HIm not wining a fight my dear, He would not have lost. He even won when they crucified HIm. And just wait until His last fight that's coming up! WOW!

It gives now meaning to the expression ';good things come in small packages doesn't it?';
I have not found any verse in the Bible describing what Jesus looked like. But with His ministry and all the activity outside in the sun and heat, I imagine His skin would be dark. He spoke the words ';turn the other cheek'; , but those were God's words! 5'2'; hmmm---just the right Man for me !!!
Holy prophet Muhammad had a vision wherein he saw Jesus. According to him, he has a fair color a bit reddish and his hair are reddish brown. Pearl like drops come out of his hairs as if he has just taken a bath. He has shoulder long hairs. He was wearing a saffron colored robe.

Muhammad Javed Iqbal
Just remember that good things come in small packages. That and the smaller you are, the smaller your center of gravity, the more force in your blow.
No it was speculation

no one knows what jesus height was

No one knows what he looked like except he had olive skin.

He was a average person.

something interesting about Biblical accounts: not a lot of focus on appearance. kind of refreshing.
Everybody is able to kill, but not everybody can go to death without offering resistance.
He was a carpenter. If he did in fact exsist he was a pretty strong guy. He is always depicted as weak, when really he would not have been.
No no no lol I agree with the dark skin but based in Isaiah 53:2-3 Jesus looked like Hills Have Eyes. He wasn't this pretty face boy who all the women fell on the ground for.
Yeah, that seems more logical than a 6'4'; blond haired blue eyed viking jesus.

Its true :D
Sweet i got jesus beat by a inch.....
yeah and moses had blue eyes and blonde hair

lol i was being sarcastic
No doubt if he existed he would have dark skin considering the sun shines 24/7.
He is described as around 6' 4';, white by prophets who have seen him in these latter days.
Yes i meat Jesus he would only be 4 feet
