I appreciate your position but you have it the other way around. The FLDS is not prospering and the SLC LDS is prospering. The apostolic authority has continued unabated and the work is moving forward unhindered. By there works shall ye know them and our works speak for us.

its only a small possibility that Emma Smith was correct and that sidney rigdon continued the church in righteousness. but highly improbable.


if the true church was swept like a lady in a flood to the utah valley, it was for her protection, against the devouring dragon of revelation. otherwise the church might have been destroyed even as it grew roots.


i dont believe the flds or the rlds are the correct branches of God. but it would not surprise me if the holy ghost of God has his movements among all churches including all the branches of the church.


i think the utah LDS church might be lacking several things, including celestial glory, despite world wide temples but that doesnt mean there would not ever be a revival.

No the LDS church is a Christian Church and so it yours, there was just a split over who to follow once Joseph Smith was martyred.





I tend to side the those who followed Young, but I still think both Churches teach good Christian principals. Christians of all flavors achieve more when they think of what they have in common instead of minutia and doctrinal differences. No Christian is any better than another, nor better than anyone for that matter.
Satan's mission is to deceive Everyone / he wants Lots of company in Hell where he will be. But no one is going to appreciate him or that place once they get there.

The RLDS was the church established by Emma and Sidney Rigdon. However, since they filed bankruptcy several years ago, they are now called the Community of Christ.
