Is it true that Jesus Christ condemned a man who spat on him to live for-ever?

During the last hours of Jesus' life on Earth, Jesus told Simon Peter to put his sword back into its place , when he cut off the right ear of a high priest's slave.Jesus was slapped in the face. He also said ,'; Father, Forgive them! They do not know what they are doing.'; BUT, it has been said that Jesus condemned a man who spat on him to live for-ever. That man will never find rest, he will be weary for eternity. Is it true that Jesus Christ condemned a man who spat on him to live for-ever?
This is the legend of the wandering Jew. According to the legend Jesus on the way to Calvary asked a man for water and the man replied get you gone to which Jesus said I will go but you must stay until I come again. Is it true that Jesus Christ condemned a man who spat on him to live for-ever?
I don't know where you heard that story. The four gospels Matthew Mark Luke %26amp; John that are in the Bible were written and circulated when people who knew Christ were still alive. And they were accepted as correct accounts. Other ';gospels' about Jesus were written usually over 200 years later by gnostics who were not eyewitnesses at all.

Read the four Gospels in the Bible to get and accurate picture of Jesus.
I'm not sure but in few books I saw the reference to eternal Jew. Could he be the one that spat on Jesus?
Yeah he lives next door to me.
That's funny. So Karma even caught up with JC. (You remember that he spat on his hands to then rub into the blind man's eyes.)
There are many stories and traditions which have been handed down by different groups since Christ. One may contain a story like that, but it is not from biblical texts. Now think about it. How could that be consistent with the Christ of the Bible. He came to save. When he spat on his hands and rubbed the blind man's eyes it was to assist in the removing of ';scales'; from his eyes and the man who was blind could then see. Why did he need to ';curse'; the man he was already cursed with the sentence of death upon him for rejection of Christ's love?

John 3:16-18

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
I don't know where that idea comes from but no it isn't true!
there's no such thing as jesus anyway so what does it matter?
See, that's the funny thing about religion........Jesus can condem a man to live forever...yet isn't that what salvation is supposed to be about, living forever...and by the way, that is for ever folks, not just 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years but for ever...I think I would get bored.
there's no such thing written in the bible. Jesus came to save the sinners and not to condemn, however, the next time He will come (the second coming) He will no longer come as a savior but as a judge, so better be ready and surrender our lives to Him before it is too late.
