Is it true that the Quran states Jesus is the Messiah?

If so, why do the Muslims kill Christians in all the Muslim dominated countries?Is it true that the Quran states Jesus is the Messiah?
yes they call him the christ but do not recognize what that means.Is it true that the Quran states Jesus is the Messiah?
Quran mentions Jesus as a prophet just like Adam, Noah, Moses, Abraham, Muhammad etc....





If Muslims kill christians, they are doing it absolutely wrong but you don't have to blame Islam or Quran for that... Quran or Islam doesn't permit killing and taking innocent lives...i know there are some black sheeps in a community but you can't blame the religion for that...If Hitler killed 6 million jews, you can't blame christianity for that...The west has killed thousands of innocent muslims in the past decade (e.g, in afghanistan, iraq, weekly drone attacks in Pakistan which many a times have taken innocent lives etc) as compared to muslims killing the christians, you just can't blame christianity for that....





in order to know what the religion teaches, just go through its scripture...the Quran no where permits taking innocent lives...i know there are some critics who take verses out of context and present it in a way so as to say that Quran supports killing of innocent lives, but if you go to the context of those verses, you will come to know that they are related to the times of war in order to encourage the soldiers, e.g, no army general in the battlefield will tell the soldiers to sit down and let their enemies kill them, but to boost the morale of the soldiers, they have to tell them that fight them and the Quran says the same thing.moreover, whenever the Quran says something about war and fighting, in the next verses it also says that if the enemies want peace, peace is better.but the critics of Islam don't mention that verse while maligning Islam..
Nowhere in Islam, does it say to kill people of any faith. It is hatred and influence of Satan which preempts people to kill others.





';Those who believe (in the Quran), and those who follow the Jewish(scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians, and any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.'; (The Cow, sura 62, Quran)
The Quran refers to a man who is called Isa that they refer to as Jesus but this man is not in agreement with the word of God and can not be the Jesus the Christ who is the Son of God.


The Quran refers to a god caleld Allah who claims to be the God of Abraham who disagrees with the God of Abraham and his righteous word.


The Quran mentions prophets by name but Islam calls the words of the prophets corrupt because the Quran is not in agreement with the word of God nor the words of the prophets of God.





The Allah of Islam is not the God of Abraham.


The Jesus of Islam is not Jesus.


The prophets of Islam are not the prophets of God.


The Gabiriel of the Quran is not the Gabriel the angel of God that spoke to Mary.


Islam offers names that seem familair and give new words to these that only come from Muhammad and the spirit he claims came from God.








Sahih Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 176: Narrated by 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said, ';You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.''; Sahih Bukhari Hadith Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177: Narrated by Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, ';The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. ';O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him.';











Qur'an 2:191: And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.

















Qur'an 4:089: They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.

















Qur'an 4:091: You will find others who desire that they should be safe from you and secure from their own people; as often as they are sent back to the mischief they get thrown into it headlong; therefore if they do not withdraw from you, and (do not) offer you peace and restrain their hands, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them; and against these We have given you a clear authority.














Qur'an 9:005: So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.














Qur'an 17:033: And do not kill any one whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause, and whoever is slain unjustly, We have indeed given to his heir authority, so let him not exceed the just limits in slaying; surely he is aided.

The truth was the same when Muhammad was disagreeing with the word of God.

Yes, they believe Jesus is the Messiah (al-Masih), but they think the concept of ';Son of God'; is blasphemy and against monotheism.





They kill Christians because they want to forcibly convert them to Islam.
A lot of time religion says one thing and people do another. But no they did not think that they thought that Jesus was an important prophet. But they may persecute others because of the differences in their religion not the similarities.
Yes...Quran tells us that Jesus was given miracles by Allah..And we believe in virgin marry, miraculous birth of Jesus and all of his miracles and also in hi second coming...





The difference lies in the fact that Quran tells us additional detail about Jesus, which christian neither want to believe nor they want to check back in their original scriptures (not the Greek translation but the original which Jesus gave directly to them with their own hand)..

1. Jesus never went on cross neither he was crucified... Infact Allah make this event doubtful for the people...they think that they have taken Jesus to Cross..but this didn't happen..





2. Jesus was a Prophet of Allah, just like Adam, Noah, Moses, Mohammad (PBUH)....He was not son of Allah neither he is god...


And that's why you will find not a single categorical statement in your whole bible from Jesus that I AM GOD WORSHIP ME or only WORSHIP ME I AM YOUR LORD or simply WORSHIP ME...


The ambiguous statements can be given various meanings..chrisitan gave them one meaning ...we muslims under the light of the teachings of Islam understand it in another way...








And your information is totally wrong ....that in muslim dominated countries muslims kills christians....





I belong to a Muslim country...and there all chrisitian live happily and equal life as we muslim lives...


They are running their own schools and colleges ...even my school education was from one of those schools..


Infact in those schools number of christian students are far less than number of muslim students...and muslims don't kill their teachers...we give a lot of respect to our teachers...





One can find such an incidence in problematic areas, but it is rare..and being natives we know that these incidents are planted by foreign agencies in which they buy some local people to do such things...


And media shows you only such incident but it don;t show you the normal daily life routines and interactions of muslims and christians in such countries...

They just beleived tht Jesus was the prophet which recieved the 3rd big book of god.Muslims dont worship him cause they dont see him as god and only god is worthy of worship.
No...I don't think so. But I do believe that the Quran states that Jesus was a prophet of the people. And a popular one at that. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.

As far as I know muslins see Jesus as prophet, but not as the Messiah neither as Son of God, what makes of them a cult.
They just believe he's just a prophet. You can't worship him as a god, but you can respect him.
