';commandments... Then why would some consider Him to come as a thief in the night when ';stealing'; breaks commandments?





Or could this just mean he might slip in a window and startle the diddles out of you if He where to approach someone?

What the words are saying are that Jesus will come when you least expect him to, like right now, just as you have been mocking His words. The comment is there so that you stay on your toes and do what is right all the time, because really, how embarrassed will you be if you just finish doing something bad and there He arrives?
If you would have kept reading Jesus would have explained what he meant. He is coming when no one who isn't a follower of God will be expecting it. Only the believers would have an idea of when His coming will be approaching.
he made it simpler to understand but added only Love. but we can not know when he will return we must be prepared at all times.
It simply means - Christ will come back without warning us when.
