Is it true that Jesus traveled to India during the ';lost years';, and was taught Eastern philosophy?

Hinduism/BuddhismIs it true that Jesus traveled to India during the ';lost years';, and was taught Eastern philosophy?
some people claim this because many of his ideas seem plagiarised from those two religious traditions, however it wouldn't have been necessary for him to travel there. the roman province of palestine was on one of the main caravan trading routes to the east, so many of those ideas would have disseminated where jesus livedIs it true that Jesus traveled to India during the ';lost years';, and was taught Eastern philosophy?
Unlikely. Although Buddhist missionaries may have had a presence in the Middle East at the turn of the 1st millennium. The mysticism of the Essenes, Gnostics, and Greco-Egyptian Hermeticists paralleled some of the philosophy and mysticism of the East. It is those influences that more likely played a role in the development of early Christianity than Hinduism or Buddhism.
No. There are no ';lost years';. There is absolutely no biblical and no historical evidence of Jesus traveling to India. Jesus the Christ did not come to ';learn'; but to save.

Jesus IS God, co-equal and co-eternal to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is God's Word made flesh, present with God, having no beginning nor end. Through Jesus, all things have been made and in Him are all things. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and none can come to the Father but through Him.
No. Not true.

He had His beginning with His Father when there was nothing created in this Universe. He was the First Creation of Jehovah God. He then created all things, visible and invisible. Nothing came to existence if not for Him.

He did not need to learn anything from the oriental cultures. He was here much before they appeared.

Read Proverbs 18. He is called ';Wisdom'; there.
absolutely irrefutable. All of the stories like walking on water and feeding the 500 as well as the customs from rosary beads to monasteries and monks orders all come from Buddhism.
You got the point.I have heard that Jesus went to India and learnt Buddhism during his missing period 13-30.That's why buddhist teaching can be found in the Bible.

Buddha has told many things about the earth and other things 2500 years ago. There are now proved by scientists. eg.Buddhits believe in rebirth.You can even know about your past life if you are hypnotized.

For me,Christians just believe what is in the bible.They dont use thier brains to analyze the truth in scientific way.They very much rely on god.For them Jesus was this magic man who even came back from death.Is that possible? Buddha was a human like us.The only differance is that he attained nibbana or enlightenment.He practised his mind see things about past and future.Anyone can attain nibbana but its so much hard work.MIND CAN BE TRAINED TO ACHIEVE ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD.

Read this article.You will find the answer

It says ';A scientist would reword the same question as, ';What is the origin of this universe?'; The answer is that the beginning and end of the universe are to be found within your own body and mind. You are its creator!';

I have heard that Jesus went to India and learnt Buddhism during his missing period 13-30.That's why buddhist teaching can be found in the Bible. We dont believe in a GOD whom we havent even seen.God didnt create this earth or human.Think about these things in a Scientific way.

Someone has asked the same question as you did.You can find it in Yahoo Questions.He has stated a conversation between buddha and one of his students.It was,

Is this another reason that science relates to Buddhism, and Buddhism relates to Christianity?
