4 For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
Is that why Jesus refers to the called ones as a ';Little Flock';?With all the differing beliefs among professing Christianity, who has the True Jesus, Spirit and Gospel?
The Little Flock are those who follow Yeshua the Messiah %26amp; His
Commandments, the Commandments of Yahweh.With all the differing beliefs among professing Christianity, who has the True Jesus, Spirit and Gospel?
Thank you.

Many profess Christ, but few exhibit his nature. To know God is to know Christ. One cannot come to God apart from Christ. He and His Father were one. The nature of God is the nature revealed in His Son, Jesus the Christ. As a believer, we can know who has the spirit of Christ by understanding the fruit which comes through their hearts. Jesus was humble, full of goodness, merciful, compassionate, empathetic, kind, gentle, loving, forgiving, etc.
Arrogance, hatred, variance, strife, confusion, etc. are all products of a different spirit. Paul was making reference to many who were preaching Jesus, but were not exhibiting his nature. Jesus said...';you will know them by their fruits.';
As we see today on TV, many preachers, but few disciples. The spirit which preaches Jesus is not of Jesus. It is a spirit which diverts many away from the love of Christ and the work He has done on our behalf.
The Jesus story is not unique or original to Christianity. Christ is a pagan word in reference to the Sun. ie as in Mithra Christos. The NT bible is 90% pure pagan Mithra Christos, terminology, scripture, festivals, church hierarchy, costume, the lot. Even the Vatican sits on top of the main Mithratic cathedral site in Rome. Christianity is Mithra Christos wearing a new name. It is an allegorical story about the Sun.
The following religions are all older than Christianity and they all share the same main ingredients. The only real difference are the names, places and the era it took place in.

It's beliefs on an individual basis, not on a denominational level. As you have shown, we receieve the Spirit. So someone can be going to the wrong church with false teachings, but still receive the truth from the Bible, and from the Holy Spirit. This is my experience. I was taught all kinds of false teachings, and almost abandoned Chrisitanity altogether because my beliefs were so confused by them. But the whole time, the Bible was speaking to me when I read it, and the Holy Spirit was showing me the truth. I finally came to realise that I need to believe what the Bible convicts me to believe and not others teach that contradict, the teachings of the Bible.
So I don't like to say ';this church or that church is the wrong church';.
However with that said, one sign of a false church is when they say ';Our church is the only true church.'; That is not Biblical, Jesus said ';Upon this rock I will build my church';, and the rock was the faith that Jesus was the Christ the Son of God as Peter had confessed.
I'm here to show others to believe the Bible and thier own convictions about what the Bible says, and trust God.
Another answer has a good point. Many false teachers are just telling us what we want to hear, so we have many preachers making lots of money . This is the cause of all the corruption in the denominations. Where there is greed there is corrupt teachings.
When Jesus Christ came to earth and established His Church, it was ONE Church, with one belief. There is only one group of Christians which has not changed one iota of what Jesus Christ Himself left us as the Church for our salvation...as in NO man-made parts at all and that is Eastern Orthodox Christianity. It is still the original practice of faith, without any man-made changes, as practiced when Christ and His Disciples were on the earth. St. Paul was trying to explain the difference between preaching falsehood, and preaching something just slightly different from what is the true doctrine. In Galacia, at the same time, there were those who were preaching severely false teachings. He was trying to let people understand the difference. That's what my study Bible says on this verse.
Because we, as Christians, are akin to lambs, and lambs are pretty dumb.
