Is it true that Jesus was born in a stable?

because Mary couldn't get a room in a hotel cos they were all full being Christmas time?Is it true that Jesus was born in a stable?
Yep. All the motels and bed-and-breakfasts and hospitals were full, too!Is it true that Jesus was born in a stable?
ignore the smartass comments. Yes it is true. It wasnt becuase it was full on chirstmas, it was becuase they were doing census's and everyone had to go back to thier home town. the town and the inn was full. the inn keeper suggested a near by stable. they took it , they were desperate. Mary had been riding the donkey all the way to bethleham for the census and she was going to have a baby, i imagine she was in a hurry! Hope this helped.
If your talking about Jesus Christ, then yes, I believe your are partly correct..it was a stable/manger...there was livestock running about. You are incorrect however about the hotels. At that time in history, there were really no hotels to speak of, just bed and breakfasts. These do not have private washrooms, and must be shared with other guests on that floor. Mary refused to share a wash room with strange men, and thus the barn was the other option.
There's no evidence that he was. Luke's gospel says he was laid in a manger, but there's no mention of stables, ox, donkey or a Catalan peasant relieving himself in the corner.

The ';no room'; bit was probably because they were Jewish - you try getting a hotel room in the West Bank.
NO! What actually happened was Mary was getting all bitchy at Joseph for not shelling out for a hotel, and Joseph was like ';Aw damn girrrrrl it ain't even my baby';. So basically they took a taxi to the nearest hospital, somewhere in Kansas, and Jesus was born. Then three kings came and gave him some bling bling to distract people with while he told funny stories.
i always heard it was in a manger but i kinda think it was somewhere in a cave and somewhere that's not the most conferable. remember king james bible is the closest we have to the real bible but he made it how he wanted it.
there is not even a shred of evidence that he even existed so no he wasn't born in a stable he was created about 150 years later by an unknown writer who told stories about the character
no she was outside or somethingand then God decided to poof a fetus into her belly! and she couldnt find anywehre to go so everyone made a stable and she gave birth right there and then. im pretty sure thats how it goes.
Mary wouldn't get a room because she was Jewish and therefore tight on money.

Hey Bella, Christmas day doesn't mark the actual day that Jesus was born. Nice fail though, your ignorance is hilarious.
I guess I just thought Mary didn't believe in 5 star accommodations. Wasn't she vegan? She really went all natural, no drugs or epidural. The 3 wise men, larry curly and moe were her lamaze coaches.
yea he was born in a stable,

it was because the inn/hotel had a no pets policy and they could not leave the donkey in the car over night on its own.
If it was in the bible... then yes :) The bible never lies it was written by people who were there... except it wasn't because of Christmas because Christmas didn't exist then
Apparently so
Jesus wasn't born, he was manufactured.
There wasn't any christmas before Jesus so that's impossible
yes its true, that time of year all rooms are full of virgins, she got there too late
They had to travel by donkey because the flights were all full too... don't leave that part out.
He was born in a stable because there was no room for Him elsewhere.
I know, you'd have thought they'd have had the common sense to book early before the Christmas rush! lol!!!
jesus is born every morning in the east, hes the big yellow bright dude.
A manger.
yes he ws born in a stable.
Well, that and they weren't a pet friendly hotel dear...........those donkeys can really make a mess!
you could say that yes :) stable
bran keep you regular and nice poopies
LMAO
Right
yeah its mad at the holiday season lol
i'd say that nothing around jesus is pure, solid, fact. it could be something that christian/catholics fabricated to get more people to come to the church, to make jesus seem poor. thats just my opinion, but who knows whats true when it comes to religion
Your ignorance is very disgraceful to Christianity. There would be no Christmas if Jesus were not born, so it goes to show how low your intellegence level really is.
No, he was born on the moon, where some guy farted so long, he crashed on earth like superman!
